National Program OfficePromoting Excellence in End-of-Life Care, a national program of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF), provided $15 million in grants and technical support to innovative programs to change the face of dying in America. From offices at the Center for Ethics at The University of Montana, this program supported innovative demonstration projects in health care settings and national workgroups comprised of clinicians and researchers from across the country to deliver palliative care to special populations in often challenging settings. Promoting Excellence in End-of-Life Care was a national program of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation dedicated to long-term changes in health care institutions to substantially improve care for dying people and their families. |
